With the juice fast, I haven't wanted to have to spend much time with food I can't have. When I realized I hadn't fed the dogs their dinner, I got all grumpy about having to handle their food when I can't eat so I decided to be lazy and give them dry food. I know, bad doggy mommy, but some days...
Anyway, it was really interesting to watch their reaction. Wolfey, who has more health issues and really needs the homemade food and has been on the homemade diet much longer gobbled it down. Lolly, on the other hand, who has only been on the diet for a few months and has her health issues under control completely turned her nose up at it. Wolfey ended up eating his food and Lolly's! I love my crazy dogs!
